FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Southwest Florida Paralegal Association, Inc. ("SWFPA”) and the Paralegal Association of Florida – Suncoast Chapter ("PAF”) are proud to announce a combined effort with State College of Florida ("SCF”) Paralegal Club to present the Sarasota/Bradenton area’s first (that we know of) career fair dedicated to the legal services professions. SCF, PAF, and SWFPA are joining their efforts on April 28, 2018, to provide employers, job seekers, agencies, and training programs an opportunity to network, connect, and learn from each other. The event is scheduled to run from 9am to approximately 1pm in and around the auditorium at the Lakewood Ranch campus of SCF, located at 7131 Professional Parkway East in Sarasota off University Parkway east of Interstate-75.

Those interested in exhibiting or presenting at the event can contact Kim Grabbe from PAF Suncoast or Lisa Ellis from SWFPA. Employers, staffing agencies, and other legal services providers are encouraged to participate. Speakers will be announced at a later date.

ABOUT US: Southwest Florida Paralegal Association, Inc. "SWFPA” was established in 1997 to provide local paralegals with a network of legal resource information and information on educational and professional opportunities. SWFPA’s primary goals are: upholding the high ethical, professional, and personal standards set forth by the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. (NALA); increasing paralegal awareness by encouraging member participation in community activities; and offering membership services at a reasonable rate.
